Soft Touch Appreciation Luncheon for Central Texas
January 15, 2011

Host: Georgetown Church of Christ

At the luncheon approximately 35 women who regularly minister to those who are ill by providing hand crafted items for the
pastoral care volunteers who carry them to patients. In Central Texas, we are blessed with nine Soft Touch ministry groups.
Of those, 5 were able to be represented at the luncheon. Each person involved in a Soft Touch ministry received a small pewter
lapel pin depicting a spool of thread, a needle and a heart.

The theme for the day was taken from an Shaker saying, “Hands to Work, Hearts to God.”
